Information for Artists Submitting Work
Criteria and Guidelines
• Artists must submit a minimum of 3 pieces but no more than 5 of original artwork.
• Size of work must be square and fall within a 4, 5, 6, 7, or 10 inch format. Canvas
and panel will be accepted only as 10 x 10 and up to a maximum 3/4” deep. A

• All work must be stabilized (pencil, pastel, etc) or dry (oil, encaustic, etc) before
submitting.

guidelines. Grapheteria offers a lower price than most framers. Framing will be
paid for in advance of the event.

• Each piece will be priced at $200. This year we offering artists $115 commission

• The Curatorial Committee reserves the right to make final selections for those
pieces of art that will be in the 2009 Black Frame Art Sale. Submissions that do
not meet the criteria will be rejected.
